342 baler stop dog issue

Hi all,

As title says old 342 baler snapped a shear pin mid needle cycle and stop dog is out. since the needles are still half way in the chamber the stop dog is still kicked out so turning her over will just snap another pin. nay ideas about
how to reset the cycle?

Sounds like a frustrating spot to be stuck mid cycle with the needles half in. That's well beyond my own wheelhouse since balers are their own puzzle once the timing gets off. Hoping someone here who runs a 342 has hit this exact jam and can walk you through getting it reset by hand.
