Looking for thoughts about the electric gator

For a couple of months I've been playing with the idea of getting an electric JD and I'm thinking about the GX. I have the original 4x2 series from 98 and it's still doing it's job, but in the past several years I started moving towards EVs (leaf and f150 lightning) so this is the next thing in my life that should go in that direction. With that said, how do these electric things work and is it worth it?

Your 98 is still running so you know what you're getting into with the utility side at least. The GX is solid but the real question is whether your property setup actually works for charging. Where are you planning to keep it and how often would you be using it in a day. That changes everything about whether the battery management makes sense for your situation versus just sticking with what you have.
