Picture yourself in the store staring at a wall of fuel bottles each one promising the world.
Everyone seems to have their go-to favorite.
So which fuel additive do you genuinely trust?
When do you pull it out, and what real-life results have kept you coming back for more?

Last winter, I had a problem with a rough idle, so I decided to try a standard diesel additive for cold starts. It’s nothing special, but it definitely made the engine run smoother and cut down on filter issues, so I keep a bottle handy now.

There's not much to it. I just use a basic injector cleaner a few times a year. It's not a miracle worker, but it helps the engine stay cleaner and keeps my fuel economy steady.

I learned this the hard way after a bad batch of fuel almost ruined my weekend plans. Now, I always add a stabilizer when my equipment’s going to sit for a while. It’s inexpensive insurance, saves me from headaches, and my machines start up right when I need them.

for me, it’s all about Howes Lubricator. when the temps drop below zero, that’s the only thing I trust to keep my 4044 from gelling up

Seems like it’s definitely earned its spot in your cab. There’s nothing better than having something that truly comes through when the temperatures drop
