Make it a habit to check your tire pressure every week; uneven pressure leads to uneven wear and can cause slipping. If you can, mix up your work patterns too. Consistent left turns wear one side down much faster, I’ve seen it happen all too often.

Always look for stones or debris stuck in your tire treads; they can create flat spots and strange wear patterns. It’s also a good idea to check your ballast, as improper weight distribution can cause tires to slip and wear unevenly when under load, which just ends up wasting money on new tires.
