Quick winter runs with Deere engines

Ever get that feeling when it's freezing, and you start up your Deere tractor real quick for a small task, then shut it down? I've been thinking, do these short runs in the winter mess up the engine or the emissions stuff in the long run? Has anyone seen this happen or have tips on whether short runs cause problems? Let me know what you've noticed and how you deal with it.

After a winter of constantly using mine for small tasks, I had the same question. Later on, I noticed more regen cycles, but it never warmed up completely. In order to get everything up to temperature, I now try to let it run a little longer.
