You're out there in the heart of a snowstorm, your tractor working hard, and the whiteout makes every little task feel like a challenge. Some folks are all about those extra mirrors, while others prefer to crank up the lights, and a few even combine both for the best visibility.

What’s your favorite hack for keeping your vision clear when the snow is really piling up?

Learned the hard way that regular lights are no match for a storm. Switched to LED floods, and now I can actually see in the snow

Mirrors alone? Forget about it in winter. They ice over in no time. Now, I use heated mirrors plus extra lights. Keeps things clear, even when it's snowing like crazy.

I'll never forget this one blizzard... couldn't see a thing! Almost got stuck. That's when I installed extra lights up high on my cab and got a little defroster fan for the windshield. Now, I can see just fine, even in the worst storms when the snow's comin' down hard

maybe one, get some Heated LED work lights. these have internal heating elements (like a rear window defroster) that kick in automatically when it’s freezing, keeping the lenses clear without you having to climb out every 20 minutes to wipe them

Got it, that sounds like a really smart upgrade! Anything that makes it easier to avoid climbing in and out of the cab when it’s cold is a big plus in my book.

Indeed, everyone benefits from anything that reduces the number of extra steps taken in the cold.
