Water pump

Based on my research, here’s how to replace the water pump on a 250 skid steer:
  1. Drain coolant from radiator and block drain plugs
  2. Remove fan shroud and fan assembly
  3. Disconnect hoses from water pump
  4. Remove drive belt(s)
  5. Unbolt water pump from engine block (typically 4-6 bolts)
  6. Clean mounting surface thoroughly, remove old gasket material
  7. Install new gasket or RTV sealant on pump
  8. Torque bolts to manufacturer spec in crisscross pattern
  9. Reconnect hoses, belt, and refill coolant
  10. Bleed air from system and check for leaks
Model-specific steps may vary, consult your service manual for exact procedures and torque specifications.

Also, give this a look, hopefully it helps:

@58riverrat just one tip from me, which is to change the thermostat. you have the top hose off and the coolant drained, so it is always best practice (and cheap insurance) to replace the thermostat at the same time. It lives right where the top hose connects
