Hey everyone! So, I've got this 214 John Deere, and let me tell you, being a 6'2" giant crammed into that thing is quite the experience. It's definitely not a plush ride! After a few longer drives, that seat starts to feel like a torture device. I'm really hoping to find some tips or tricks to make things a bit cozier for us taller folks

Have any of you done seat swaps, modifications, or have any hacks up your sleeve? I'd love to hear what's worked for you

Yep, I totally get what you mean. those older Deeres weren't made with tall people in mind!

Some have had luck swapping in a low profile aftermarket seat or adding a seat riser with more padding. Even just sliding the seat back a bit if the rails allow so can give your knees some breathing room. Hope you find a comfy setup!

Been there, man. I added a universal high-back seat with a homemade riser and it made a world of difference for my knees and back. :) Wow. We're definitely getting older.

Adding a gel seat cushion or memory foam pad on top of the original seat is a quick, cheap hack that helps too or extend the seat rails
