You jump into the cab, all set to let AutoTrac take over, but those lines aren’t quite as straight as you’d like. What’s your favorite setup or adjustment to get the best accuracy from it? Share your tips and tricks with the members.

Before I crank up AutoTrac, I take a moment to do a quick calibration. Just a slight adjustment to the line offset and you’re all set. Don’t forget to check your GPS signal if that’s off, then everything else will be too

First things first make sure your GPS is spot on, without satellites your lines will be all over the place.
Then, go ahead and calibrate the steering and tweak those ‘Line A’ settings until they feel just right.
It only takes a few minutes but can save you hours of work later.

Always kick things off with a solid calibration pass, making sure I’m in the best spot for a strong GPS signal. Even small tweaks to the line offset can make a big difference believe me, AutoTrac doesn’t always play nice
