How do you diagnose that uneven travel motor response or creep

You push the controls, and the machine either creeps or one side just doesn’t respond like the other. It’s a feeling you’re probably all too familiar with. How do you tackle it? Do you check pressures, look at the case drain, calibrate, inspect the valves, or dive into the electronics? It’s a good idea to sort this out before you start replacing those expensive parts.
 
After a long demo job, my machine started creeping, and I was convinced something serious was going wrong. But a quick calibration and a valve check did the trick. Now, I always make sure to check the basics first before jumping to conclusions.
 
Once faced a situation on a muddy job site where my left track seemed to take a little vacation. I started by checking the pressures, then moved on to the case drain, and eventually discovered a weak motor early on. That little insight saved me from tossing parts around and wasting money I didn’t have to
