Every farmer has that one tractor story that's just different. What tractor do you remember the most fondly, and what made it a legend to you? Was it how well it ran or what it got done?
I'll always remember my uncle's John Deere 4020. It was the first tractor I ever got behind the wheel of, and that engine's sound is still stuck in my head. Getting on it felt like getting on something legendary.
For me, it's John Deere 4440. I spent an entire summer using that thing during hay season, and the combo of power and comfort made those long days way easier. That tractor earned my respect, big time.
The John Deere 3020 really sticks out too. I bought a used one when I was just starting, and it got me through so many jobs I can't even count them all. It was super reliable, and I learned a lot about keeping stuff running because of it.
