Real world ways to maintain electronic displays and control modules

My 6M's display has been acting up lately, and I can't help but worry about moisture or dust sneaking into the electronics.
What are some practical maintenance habits that can help prevent these pricey modules from failing?
I really don’t want to end up staring at a dead screen, regretting that I didn’t take better care of it.

Using dielectric grease on all harness connectors helps prevent corrosion from moisture. Also, try to park indoors when you can, sunlight and weather wear out electronics quickly. A simple tarp over the cab is a lot cheaper than replacing a $2,000 display module.

Make sure the cab is tightly sealed, those door seals really make a difference. Monthly, blow out the vents and connector areas with compressed air. Dust can be a slow killer for electronics. When washing the tractor, steer clear of spraying directly at displays and control panels; water can ruin them immediately.

Inspect the rubber boots around connectors for any cracks, they can dry out and let moisture in.
Don't leave windows open while storing; condensation on circuit boards can lead to failures in the long run.
If you're storing in a humid area for a while, consider using a dehumidifier bag in the cab.
