I used to put off preparations until spring, but after one winter when a frozen line cost me an entire weekend, I now make sure to take care of everything before I park the Deere.

I really understand that feeling there were many falls when I just walked by my Deere, promising I’d get to it later. Then spring would come, bringing leaks, dead batteries, and stuck fittings for me to deal with. These days, I make it a point to tighten, grease, and check everything before winter hits.
