You’ve probably noticed how some friends skip out on small maintenance tasks, only to end up facing expensive repairs down the line. You want your tractor to be dependable and ready to tackle any job that comes your way.

So, what maintenance tasks do you consider absolutely essential throughout the year?

I'm all about greasing those fittings first thing. Had a loader pin seize up on me one summer and let me tell you, I learned my lesson.

For me, it's oil changes every spring and fall, no exceptions. Skipped it one year way back when, and the engine ran like garbage. Not making that mistake twice.

Got to keep that air filter clean, you know? I'm always out in super dusty fields. One season, I didn't pay attention and the tractor started sputtering out in the middle of a job. Ever since, I check and change those filters like clockwork, even if they look okay.
