Sounds like your charging system might have a problem, like the alternator not making enough power, or the voltage regulator is bad. Check your battery when the engine's on, it should read 13.5-14.5V. Give the battery terminals and ground wires a good look to see if they're rusty. It could also be a bad ignition switch or a loose wire in the dashboard.
