buy a 1200 Hour John Deere X380?

I found a used John Deere X380 with a bagger for $2500, but it’s sitting at 1200 hours.
it looks to be in good condition, I haven't really checked, though. on the other hand, 1200 hours is getting up there for a residential mower
is this a fair price for the high mileage, or should I keep looking for something with lower hours?

I once picked up a used mower with just 1,100 hours on it because it looked well-kept and ran smoothly for a season. But then, it started to drain my wallet with little issues. If I’m looking at a mower with 1,200 hours for $2,500, I’d want to see some solid maintenance records, or I’d be on the hunt for something else.

My neighbor snapped up a Deere with high hours for a bargain and was convinced he got a great deal until the hydro started whining like a sad country song. At 1,200 hours, asking $2,500 seems a bit risky unless it’s been really taken care of. I’d definitely negotiate on that price.

I’ve noticed X300-series mowers can rack up hours, but 1,200 hours is getting up there, like a middle-aged model with some wear and tear. If it’s in mint condition and comes with records, sure, maybe it’s worth it. But honestly, for that price, I’d rather wait for one with fewer hours that won’t require a major overhaul anytime soon.
