Okay, so last winter, my Deere's heat was acting up while I was plowing snow. Everything seemed okay, but the heater core was choked with crud. After I flushed it out, the heat worked again. Might be worth a look if the easy stuff doesn't do the trick.

When I had those early shifts, the cab heater was always weak. It turned out that the blend door thingy was stuck on cold. I cleaned it and added some grease, and it was good as new. It's easy to miss when you are super cold and annoyed.
