Clear out the radiator screen with compressed air every morning in the summer.
Dust collects there quicker than you'd think. Just five minutes of cleaning can lower your temperatures by 20 degrees.

Check the coolant level when the engine is cold. Low coolant can lead to quick overheating when you're pushing hard. Also, make sure your radiator cap seals well, if it’s faulty pressure drops, and temperatures shoot up.
