Tips to effectively grind off scrape blade

I'm running a John Deere 333G and I was thinking about taking the grinder to it and cleaning it up a bit, but I don't want to get carried away and end up taking off more than I should. The main thing I'm worried about is how much material I can safely remove before it starts affecting the housing when I'm scraping. I'd rather not create a bigger problem just trying to stretch the life of the blade. What I'm trying to say is that I need tips

I've touched mine up a couple times. Just kiss the edge until it's straight and smooth, don't try to make it razor sharp. If you thin it too much, it'll wear the housing faster than the blade itself. Sometimes it's cheaper in the long run to just flip or replace.

@zaq.jil the main thing is not to overdo it. A little touch up is fine, but if you're taking off a lot of material, you're shortening the life of the blade and you might be better off just replacing it.
It's a tool, not a piece of art. It's meant to be worn down, so don't be afraid to just let it do its job and replace it when it's done

If you're seeing uneven wear across the blade, it's worth checking the mounting bolts and frame alignment before grinding again. @zaq.jil did you end up touching it up or holding off for now? If you've run a few more hours since posting, it'd be good to hear how the blade's holding up.
