With the colder months on the horizon it’s a good time to start thinking about getting your equipment ready. Do you have any tips for ensuring everything runs smoothly during this season?

After one winter of one dead battery after another and feeling bad about it, I get started way early now. New fluids, tested heaters, and charged batteries are the way to go. A little prep beats fixing things in the freezing cold any day.

I learned my lesson: ignoring filters before winter is a bad idea. Now I swap them out early, grease everything up, and hope the machines like the care when it gets cold.
