Hydraulic fluid change DIY

Where to change the hydraulic fluid? I got the John Deere 4044M, and it's relatively new. I don't trust other people to do the change of fluid since my mechanic died 2 months ago. I think I'm going to start a DIY career for me. Can anyone guide me through the process? This is a start of something new.

Locate and clean the transmission's suction filter, its just as crucial as the spin on filter and can be reused. You might need a new gasket when reinstalling it. Check your owner's manual too for standard practices, they might be available for free online, for the filter's location and transmission service instructions.

There's a plug at the bottom you can remove, then refill through the top and make sure you use JD approved fluid and bleed the system afterward. It's not too hard, just take your time and keep things clean

Just start draining from the main transmission case and replacing the filters before refilling through the hydraulic fill port near the rear of the tractor. You will need a large drain pan since it holds over ten gallons and it is best to park on level ground with the parking brake set before starting. Once the old fluid is drained and the filters are swapped you can use a clean funnel to add the recommended John Deere fluid like what @Matt Hut said, until the dipstick shows full. Running the tractor briefly and cycling the hydraulics will help remove air before a final level check.
