I'm helping my dad sell his X738 since he just moved out of state. It's got about 400 hours on it and comes with a snow plow and drive-over deck. Do you think asking for $9K is fair?

With the hours and attachments, $9K is a pretty good starting point, although you might have to be a little flexible, but it's right in the okay spot

Honestly, 9k seems a little low for an X738 with only 400 hours, especially with the plow and deck! Those are bulletproof machines and people know it. I've seen similar setups go for closer to 11 or 12k, but the price tag also depends a lot on your location and how clean it is. It might be good to start a bit higher, see what kind of offers you get, and still have room for some negotiations! Good luck with the sale!

My bro in law sold his X734 last year with similar hours and no attachments for around 7,500. With the snow plow and drive-over deck, I dont think 9K is out of line if it's in good shape. Is it a 2018 or newer? That can make a difference.

If it's been regularly serviced and the hydraulic system is in good shape, that really boosts its value, buyers definitely keep an eye out for wear and tear on the drivetrain.
