Safe ways to clean radiator fins

Looking at my radiator, I see those fins are a tangled mess of dirt and leaves.
What’s your favorite safe way to clean them without bending a fin or losing your cool?
I’d love to hear your tips and tricks.

I start by using compressed air to blow out the big debris just gotta be careful not to get too close! After that, a soft brush helps tackle the stubborn dirt. If you’ve got leaves, a vacuum nozzle is perfect; it’ll do the job without bending anything.

Grab yourself a radiator fin comb. It’s like a little rake for your fins and does the job without bending them. Then, a quick blast of compressed air gets rid of the finer bits. It’s like giving your radiator a mini spa treatment

A solid burst of compressed air usually takes care of most dirt, but for those tough spots, I reach for a soft nylon brush or a fin comb. You definitely don’t want to use anything too harsh trust me, that’s how you wreck your radiator

I prefer using compressed air from the inside out.
Just make sure to stand back a little to avoid peeling them back like a banana.

I start with a soft brush and some Simple Green, then follow up with a gentle spray from the garden hose.
It takes a bit longer, but it keeps the fins straight.
