my family has around 4acres of grassland that we need to mow. we also want to have a loader and a snowblower, so we need it to have a nice cab. can we get a John Deere with a budget of only up to $25000? which model is best for this kind of work?

We were in the same boat with our 4 acres. It’s not easy to find a Deere with a cab and a blower for less than $25k these days. You might have to settle for a used 1 Series or 2 Series

What state are you in?

My 2018 John Deere 2025R TLB with 93.4 hours should be for sale with AHW Harvard, Illinois, in another month or so, and it has a heated aftermarket Tektite Cab that is backhoe compatible. The 120R Loader has an Artillian Diverter Kit, which gives you a 3rd function for running a loader-mounted blade. It will also have the front-mounted PTO for a 47- or 54-inch quick-hitch blower. The downside is it will only have a 54-inch mid-mounted deck. But I bet it will be in your price range.

I traded up for a 2026 2032R with a soft cab, as I like to remove my cab for the summer months, as the Tektite is not an easily stored cab when off in the summer.

Yeah, that sounds like a good plan. Going with the 2032R upgrade is a smart move for getting things done easier this summer.
