What’s the worst kind of dirt your Deere has ever seen?

Mine had a tough time with some gumbo clay that chewed up my boots! What’s the most challenging soil or terrain you’ve encountered with your machine? Did it manage to handle it, or did it just grumble?

Last spring, I got stuck in wet clay after a rainstorm. My tractor wouldn’t budge, tires spinning like mad. Spent half the morning negotiating with the mud. Lesson learned, don’t underestimate it.

Sandy, loose soil by the river turned my excavator into a pricey slip-and-slide. I had to maneuver carefully to avoid tipping, but eventually, the machine made it through. Lesson: never underestimate soft ground.

I once faced a rocky hillside that seemed simple from a distance. My machine groaned, I joined in, and halfway up, I realized I was basically climbing a mountain in slow motion. Just barely made it.

Encountered frozen, bumpy ground last winter, thought I could zip right over. Not a chance. Tires slid, hydraulics complained, and I spent twenty minutes both cursing and laughing at my stubborn machine. Winter makes everything harder.
